These items will be filled if the response to Item 7 is 'yes' (code '1') Item 8 & 9 relate to sufficiency of ground water. A reference period of 365 days preceding the date of survey will be used for these items. If the household owns only one type of well among dug well and tubewell, code '1' will be recorded against the type which the household does not own.
