Since many of the enterprises in the informal sector are very small, due to necessity or otherwise, the phenomenon of carrying out multiple activities simultaneously or at different points of time by the entrepreneurs may be quite prevalent. The number of such activities other than the major activity of the current enterprise is to be recorded. It may be noted that the owner need not operate his other activities from the present location.
