The ICSSR Data Service uses Humanities and Social Science Thesaurus (HASSET) developed by UK Data Service, University of Essex, Essex for indexing datasets. The INFLIBNET Centre has signed license agreement with UK Data Service to use HASSET thesaurus. The UK Data Service has supplied HASSET thesaurus in SKOS format which is integrated with data input worksheet to facilitate indexing of datasets at the time of ingestion. The ICSSR is also in the process of signing an MoU with UK Data Service for using HASSET thesaurus.
